How do i make a full edible motorbike?

Hi..

So my dad's birthday is coming up and he loves motorbikes..

I was watching one my favorite inventive chefs of all time - Heston Blumenthal.

So I was thinking of making a copy of his motorbike which is a 2006 honda cbr super blackbird 1100 but make the bike totally edible.

Picture of bike

I plan to make the tyres out of licorice, the plastic parts out of white chocolate with cherry essence mixed with black food dye, the lights some kind of jelly beans or something..

The only parts I Don't really know how to make are the chrome/silver parts, shield and the seat.

Any ideas will be very helpful.

His birthday is next week.

Rock Candy for the shield, don't know about what to do for chrome or leather though.  Good Luck, sounds interesting.  Hope you post a pic if it turns out.

You may want to try edible silver paint. Works like a charm. You can get it in a can.

Petals.

Marzipan for the seat perhaps

Thanks for the tips, I did think about edible silver foil but it's a bit expensive in australia, I have seen online silver edible spray but it says not out yet the only thing I have seen I might be able to get is edible silver dust.

I'll be going to a cake decorations store next week.

Thanks :)
