Whilst I am not in favour of comparisons, of any type, I know whose regime I would prefer to follow - and it isn't the funny, wee wumman on the left....!

 

Anyway, I think most people in Britain know that Gillian McKeith's 'theories' have, in the main, been disproved.  She was very, very popular on TV here for a couple of years and had a TV series to help seriously fat people thin down.  I watched one episode of the first series transmitted and she seemed to be talking absolute nonsense (at least in my opinion!) so I never watched it again. 

 

I seem to recall that she received at least one of her 'degrees' from a mail order-type Institution in the USA and doubt was expressed whether or not she was able to use the title 'Doctor'.  I think she stopped doing so, a long time ago.
