Hello all!

 

I'm Nicholas Mann, 29, from Atlanta, GA. I am a chef of over ten years and a food lover of, well, forever. I am also the author of my own food blog which hosts reviews of restaurants and beers, as well as recipes. I'm looking forward to getting into some discussion on the site, and learning about some new techniques from all the great chefs and cooks here. In my browsing it seems like a great community! Thanks everyone! Awesome to meet you all.

Hello Nicholas and welcome to Cheftalk.  We love new members and feel they all have much to contribute to our community, so I'm sure you will fit in very well.  I seem to recall we have a few members from Atlanta, too.  Our membership is broad, from around the globe and all levels of culinary ability, from just starting out amateurs to masterchefs!

 

The wikis, articles, photographs and reviews here are worth spending time to view.  We do ask that people do not publicise their own blogs immediately they join, but hope you will do so again when you have been part of our community for a while!biggrin.gif

 

Feel free to join any thread you find interesting, or start your own in the relevant forum.  There are three Professional fora, too.

 

Hope to see you around the boards.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome, Ishbel! Sorry if posting the blog seemed superfluous, I wasn't trying to shamelessly plug, I promise, just introducing myself. I'm liking this community already! So many great ideas! Thanks again!

Listen, we don't have any problem with publicising of personal blogs, we just like to see a little interaction on the site FIRST!

Oh no! I didn't realize it had posted multiple times. Sorry! I was getting an error message on my end. That's what I get for posting on my iPhone while at work! lol Thanks for the help!
