I'm a private chef in Atlanta and purchased a 10" Chroma 301 chef's knife at the Atlanta Food Show last year, after trying it out on a pile of carrots. I loved it immediately. I have large, skinny hands, with long fingers, and the handle is great, with no slips with a soft pinch grip. The little steel nubs are great with my grip. The knife is incredibly well balanced which certainly helps the no slips. Plus it's sexy and masculine as hell! My clients always comment on it but I decline on letting them use it!
