I am hosting a dinner party--ten including me--in April, and my homemade sausage will be on the menu as part of one of the courses. Since there will be many courses, and I'll be eating, too, I want to find the most efficient and delicious way to cook sausage for a large group.
I typically par-boil the sausage for about 15 minutes and then either toss on the grill over high heat or sear in in a pan, to get the outsides of the sausage nice and browned. But this would require attention that would distract me from getting the other dishes ready, or pull me away from the conversation on the table.
Thoughts? Suggestions? I'd appreciate any feedback!
