Hi I got one as a gift, I'm wondering are these only suppose to go in the oven? you cannot use them on a gas flame stove top? not seeing anything in the manual. Thanks

You can use them on the stove top. Don't use high heat, that leads to cracking of the glaze.

I would suggest going on the manufacturer's website about care and handling.  Phatch is correct, you can use it on a gas stove top but not on a high heat and it can go into the oven up to a certain temperature, I never go upwards of 350 myself because I use it for braising so I'm not certain what the top temp would be.  Enamel cast iron is versaitille but it does need to be used properly.
