Hi all, my name is Kirk and I love to cook. I'll admit I'm still in the learner stages, but I do make up a few mean dishes that are family favorites. Looking forward to learning more about cooking, and especially the proper use of spices.

As a Home Cook myself, I’ve learned so much here at Chef Talk

I’ll bet that you’ve looked around pretty well, one thing though about the Pro-forums, they’re read only for you and me.  We are asked not to post in those, but it’s cool to see what they’re talking about.  You might want to utilize the search bar at the top of the page for past threads on topics you’re interested in.  There is just so much info here!!

This is terrific site to learn about food and spices. Using the search bar itself can bring you to many spices and dishes you might be looking for. If you cannot find answers then don't hesistate to post your own relevant thread.
