recipe for saltines and chocolate dessert

I am trying to find an old recipe for a dessert that includes saltines and chocolate. An old friend of mine used to make these and claims it was 'the easiest thing in the world'. I am not a very experienced baker. I would appreciate if someone could let me know the recipe and exactly how easy it is to make. thanks!

It is really easy to make; it's basically: line a sprayed cookie sheet with saltine crackers or matzo, then there's a butter/sugar thing poured over, you bake it, then spread chocolate chips over it and they melt, the stuff cools/crisps up and you break it up.  Some people sprinkle other things on it like nuts, candies, what-have-you.... if you google matzo crunch, you'll find lots of recipes for it.  It's been around forever and is seriously addictive.
