New guy checking in.

I just signed up moments ago and thought the best way to get started here would be to introduce myself and give a little info. I currently work as a Cook at my local district hospital and prior to that acquired about 6 years experience as a line cook in various local restaurants. I took the one year Cook Br.1 program through Canadore College and completed the 3000hrs needed for certification all in my home town of Parry Sound, Ont. I recently recieved my Certificate of Apprenticeship and am hoping to, sooner than later, make my way to North Bay to write for my Certificate of Qualification. I would ask what to expect on the exam but I will save that for another thread.

You sound as though you are well on your

way to long and fruitful carrier, congratulations.

The membership here is large and helpful. 

The expertise ranges from CCI all the way

to home cooks such as myself, and everything in between. 

Should you see a thread that interests you, do join in, or start one of your own in the relevant forums.  The Galleries are very cool!  I'm sure that you've already read some of the Special Guest forums, fascinating stuff!  If you have question you can PM to one of the Mods, they're great too. 

Mostly though have a super time!
