chilled strawberry soup with??????

so i am planning a new spring dessert menu for my job. i am making a chilled strawberry soup with goat cheese fritters. my boss told me told come up with another item to pair with the soup in addition to the fritters and strawberry garnish. any thoughts or suggestions for an additional component would be most appreciated!

You up to doing some molecular gastronomy stuff?

 

A small sphere of cream or creamy something might work well in your dish. In one of my books they sphereify cream for a 'modernist burrata'. You can pretty much cut and paste the technique to what you're doing.

How are you presenting the soup (espresso cup on a plate w/fritters? shooter glass? wide bowl?) and fritters (on a stick?)   You could do a caramelized wedge of fruit like pineapple or mango.  If you're still playing with the idea of the fritter, try a sauteed crouton of a sweet bread like banana bread and a side of goat cheese ice cream or the spherical cream from above (or even a marshmallow); maybe a drip of a balsamic syrup ....
