I want to get a big one 40 qt+ for making stock. What type/brand should I get?

Go to a restaurant supply, they have whatever you need and at affordable prices.

It would be helpful if you let us know where in the world you reside and what you plan to do with the pot (if any thing) other than make stock. If your in the US Cabelas and other out door stores can be good sources for large SS pots if you need some thing non-reactive. If your in an area with a GFS you can give them a shot as they usually carry large aluminum pots at a fair price.

Can't make any recommendations on brand, but second hunting up a restaurant supply place.
