Just wanted to introduce my self. My name is David and I love cooking. I currently work in the retail side of the industry. I am an assistant meat department team leader. I worked in seafood before that with the same company. Before that I spent about 17 years in restaurants and graduated from culinary school as well.
I have to say, I enjoy not working on a line anymore and enjoy taking the time to really appreciate food a lot more. I can cook what I want how I want at home. I actually never cooked at home before.
I enjoy this forum and look forward to getting to know other cooks! I love sharing my knowledge with other cooks about the kitchen as well.
