Hello, I've just discovered this new hobby I have, I really enjoy cooking and I think this is a great place for me to learn more. Nice to meet you all.

Thank you for the warm and tasty welcome (your signature looks yummy). I just love making Chinese type dishes, and I try as many variations as I can find. Haven't seen much of those on ChefTalk, but there are many others that I will need to try soon. Best wishes

Chinese style dishes are terrific. If you are looking for new ideas on something you like, you can start a thread in the food and discussions forum, I am sure many will give ideas.

 

I have not been to China but Vancouver has some great tasting Chinese food.

 

eg; lamb and hand pulled noodles  in a terrific broth, five spice pork fry, Pidan, pork dried oyster congee, and so many others, the  list is endless. Chinese food is an art in itself.

I am new to this site and profession.

 

I have left the corporate world behind and in the process of buying a catering business.  Hoping to be able to learn alot from all the experts here.

I am new to this forum too. I am Chinese myself and am able to cook authentic Chinese foods plus, any cuisine from all around the world. Its all self taught and I cook at home. If you want to ask me how to cook any dish please feel free to ask? I want to know how to write my own cookery books.

Hopefully we can all learn great cuisine because I certainly want to step out of my comfort zone.
