ayuda por favor

my dear mexican chef amiga sent me a (i think), wonderful extensive history and 'authentico' recipes for mole qaxaquenio and mole poblano...it's in spanish.  sadly, i do not read spanish.  any suggestions as to how to get this translated?  i wouldn't ever think of asking her to translate it for me.  aside from wanting the recipes, i am equally excited to read the history.     muchas gracias

If you can't find someone who speaks Spanish well enough to translate, face to face, and on the fly; I'll do it -- assuming it isn't more than a few pages.

IIRC you speak enough Spanish to translate the recipes with a little help from an online dictionary.

I can help as well, although I speak Spanish much better than I can read it! :D  I'd ask my wife but she's in Cuba right now so that doesn't help...heh. I'm with BDL on this one, it might be a good experience to muscle through the translation. Babelfish is at your fingertips...

primero, muchas gracias senors.  it is a most generous offer of which i would love to take advantage of and to learn along the way. were it a salsa or a simplier dish then yes, i could translate online, but moles, as you well know, are very definate and particular according to region...and region is everything!  i'll be able to translate the mole poblano recipe as well as the ingredient list for the mole Oaxaquenio, but i will most likely go blind or crazy trying to translate the history and instructions for the Oaxaquenio as the flow of language is oh so muy importante. so, may i email you the pages(3)?  i am in no rush if that helps.  de neuvo, muchas gracias....i will bake you a cake!

gracias ordo....perfect tool and i will make good use of it....una pregunta anyone?   soo, is a mole a pipian or is pipian a mole or how do they differ? is it because moles have chilies and pipians have just nuts? thanks
