Brand new on the board! So happy to have found this resource. Cannot wait to learn more from all you seasoned chefs, cooks, hobbyists, caterers, instructors, etc.

Aloha and Welcome to Chef Talk Gina!

I’m not from East Tennessee, but Kaneohe Oahu Hawaii; my husband does categorize me as a Food Hobbyist.  I love to make and then eat all types of foods.   I have learned so many things here, things I hadn’t even thought about, your mind really starts to click on all 8 cylinders after reading and interacting with the wonderful folks here. 

You may want to note that the three Pro-forays are read only for us Home Experts, though it is interesting to see what they talk about amongst themselves.

Go ahead and post and participate in the appropriate forums and should you have questions, PM to a Mod or Admin person.

Former East Tn bar and restaurant owner here.  Where are you located?

I am currently living in TX, however I hope to be relocating to East TN (Knoxville area) by next March. I am working on my official business plan now.

 

I am originally from Knoxville.

Good luck to you!!  Knoxville and the area are BEAUTIFUL!!  I have considered relocating there on several occasions, just never seem to be able to find a job.
