Herb Bonsai?

I just had a crazy idea.  I wonder if it's possible to make a Bonsai out of herbs.  Anyone else have the same idea?

 

It's OK, you can admit it.  We're all friends right?

I think thyme would look good in that style though it grows pretty fast.

I think it's kinda cool. The only problem for me though, is that it would be another point for my wife to divorce me.

Well, Iceman, if you did something bonsai, you would be shrinking gardens rather than expanding them, no?  YOu could get your whole garden into a 3X3 foot space.

LOL. Actually it's "just one more thing".  We don't have an open window sill in the house. Outside too. Our yard is filled (overrun) with all kinds of garden plants.
