My son was chosen to write something to be in our local paper. Here's the transposition:
Something to think about
Be positive, then pass it on. -- Alexander Lockhart
One cheerful person can light up a room full of people. They feel more cheerful when he's around. They catch his positive attitude. When someone is grumpy or rude, his attitude is also catching. He's not fun to be around, and people around him get grumpy, too. What about you? Is your attitude worth catching?
Something to write about
Write about someone you like to be with because he or she has a positive attitude.
(My son, 10yrs old, writes:)
The person with the most positive attitude is my daddy, Rich. He never yells at anyone. He understands people. And he is a great Dad and I love him.
My son's never seen me yell because he's never owed me a menu item yesterday. He's never overcooked sea bass or vegetables. He's never harshed my mellow (myaaaan). At the same time, that almost made me cry. That's my BOY right there. :)
Proud father! Btw this kid, at 10 can already turn vegetables blindfolded. That's right. Watch out, culinary world.
