Sanda Cakes by another name...

My friend made a delicious treat for me, known in her family as Sanda Cakes.  They have a shell made from flour, sugar, butter and eggs.  Then she put the dough into tiny pie-like tins (probably only 3" diameter). They had fluted sides. She had two different fillings. for the almond ones you fill the uncooked crust with the almond filling then bake. For the custard ones you first bake the crust then fill it with the uncooked filling.  I've tried searching online but can't find anything.  I have the recipes, but am wondering about the tins used and if everyone else calls these something else.

These, at least the cream one, sound portuguese.  I don't know the recipe but you might find it looking for portuguese recipes.
