Alcohol from a concession trailer

Thread Starter

I am just wondering what the laws are regarding selling alcohol from a mobile concession trailer. Yes i realize that my staff has to be of age, and i already know to card, but what other things will i have to apply for? i have a license in Florida, but will i have to acquire a liquor license for each state i am in, or what? I'm just curious, as i would eventually like to maybe offer wine and beer to go with some of my food.

You'll likely need a liquor license for each state. And proper business licenses, pay and collect taxes for each state and some cities.

more than taste fine
me eat it all the time

If I'm not grossly mistaken, in California you MUST have a fixed location (restaurant) for serving food for a Type 47, which allows sales at variable locations (catering) but you have to apply for a permit for each location (more fees ;-) ).
