My name is Wayne, and I am a recovering chef. I have been a cook, baker, and chef professionally for about 15 years. I have worked in fine dining, casual dining, country clubs, hotels, retirement homes, and college dining. Both as an hourly employee, and as a salaried manager.
About a year and a half ago I stopped working, to take care of my son at home. He is almost 2 years old now. During this time I have only worked a little bit of temp and on call work. I recently discovered ChefTalk, and would like to join in on the forums.
