Hello everyone!

This community looked like a very supportive place to be and that is exactly the environment I want to be in. I am 21 and I am not a chef or in the footsteps of one. I do prepare about 70% of the meals I consume now and would like to make it closer to 100. That way I have much more control over my health as well as my money!

The only experience I have is watching my dad cook for me all my life and he is not a chef, just a home cook but a very good one at that. I plan to be like him and have the ability to cook for a family, some friends or an entire party.

I am very inspired person and appreciate helpful feedback. I am looking forward to learning from all of you!

Aloha, Welcome to Chef Talk, so glad you found us!

This is a great Community, so many different culinary skill levels for all around the Globe.

Feel free to join the conversation or start one in the relevant thread.  One note on that though, as Non-Professionals, you and I are asked to read only in the Pro forums.

Don’t pass over the Articles, Reviews and Gallery; there are some fantastic photos of folks work and fun stuff too.  Try the Search bar at the top of the page when looking for an interest; a lot of topics have gone around the block a few times already.  Also, if you have questions in regards to Chef Talk’s website once you’ve read the FAQ and Community Guidelines, PM a Mod or Admin person for assistance.

Whatever you do, have a good time!
