Been a periodic lurker around these parts for the last few years. Thought I'd make an account and jump into the fray from time to time instead of just reading.
I'm 27 from the Toronto area. I've been cooking for 8 years (with a 4 year stint in lawncare in between... bleh), starting at a Little Ceasar's and working through various pizza joints until 2 years ago, when I entered my first "real" kitchen making food from scratch. My official job title ATM is "Jr Sous Chef", but really I'm just a glorified prep cook with authority over a generally inexperienced kitchen in the GTA.
Since I've finally committed to this whole cooking gig we all love so much, I figured it would be a good idea to start interacting with some other like-minded people here on the interwebs, not only to get advice, but to share some of my own helpful experiences where they apply during conversation.
