Hey
im a 26 year old who has been in the cooking biz for 10 + plus year did dish for 2 of those years,
i have since gone to school for something non cooking related and have a pretty easy office job in that field.
but cooking has always been close to me, i moonlight as a sous in a small 100 seat place in town, on avg i work 80 plus hours a week.
my question is should i stick it out at the office job which im not a huge fan of or go cook for my days.
i know the short term choice is too cook as it way better but over the years all the chefs i have ever known are burnout and crappy old man
