Hi all!
A friend asked me to help her bake some mini cakes in a jar for a party coming up, and while I am excited to help her, I just don't have a ton of free time! The party is on Saturday, but Friday we will be busy setting up and decorating. I am baking (and freezing) the cakes this weekend, but when it comes time to frost, when should I do it? I was thinking of either the Tuesday or Wednesday before the party, but can possibly do it on Thursday as well if that would be better. We are just doing a plain buttercream and/or a fudge frosting (if I find a recipe by then).

Any suggestions would be wonderful - I always love all the tips I find on ChefTalk!
