Just chimed in to say Hi to all, I've been a member for about a year now but this is my first time posting. I always observed the posting of the many dedicated Chefs in helping others in their time of need. I'm proud to be a member here.

     Sorry for the delay in responding and thank you for the warm welcome, I'm happy to be here. I'm retired from the NYPD, did 20 years there, 13 of those years I was a Detective in Brooklyn. Now I'm a Police Officer in Palm Beach County, Florida. And, Thank You, I do enjoy the fact that I can help people. I will bounce in from time to time. Anything I can assist you guys, feel free to ask.

What prec.  were you in? I used to live in Breezy Point with many guys on the job. Many cops and fireman are great cooks that I know.

         Thanks, I worked in Central Harlem (32 Precinct), in Queens (Briefly), and went on to East New York Brooklyn for 15 years in the 75th Precinct.
