Uh-oh...........
About once a year there's a huge debate on this site (and many ohters too) on what exactly a "Chef" is. The only thing everyone can agree on is that everyone has a different idea.
"Culinary" school, yes, because you learn how to cook.
But "Chef's" school? Do they teach food costing, budgeting, HR tactics, management, property and equipment maintainence, making and getting a business plan apporoved, compliance with labour board and worker's comp codes, compliance with City Hall codes, etc.????????
See, in Cnanada the only qualification there is for a cook is the "Red Seal". It's not a "Chef"'s qualification, and ITA makes this very clear. The knowledge needed for getting this qualification deals mostly with cooking.
Check to see if this school's curriculum meshes with Ontario's "Red Seal" prograrm.
