grand chef takayuki help

After a lot of reading on this site I decided to buy a grand chef takayuki 240mm. I live in Los Angeles and was able to find it locally in Little Toyko at a store called Anzen hardware. This is my problem, everywhere I've seen the knife online it is spelt "cheff" on the blade. Mine is spelt "chef" with just one f. Is mine a knockoff or did they finally fix this spelling error? Thanks for the help!

Anzen is as good and honest as any shop anywhere.  You can be safely assured your knife is real. 

 

Question:  Does Sakai Takayuki still use a little "c" for the word chef?

Bdl thanks for the response, you've eased my neurotic self. My knife has a Capitol C. Spelled exactly "Grand Chef Takayuki" I trust the people at Anzen, I was just worried maybe they bought knockoffs not knowing? The corrected spelling threw me for a loop.

Breathe.  We're lucky to have both Anzen and JKI in the same city.
