Getting consistently coarsely ground black pepper?

I'm currently operating a small burger joint with a friend. None of us are chefs, rather, i guess neither of us had cooked anything more than an egg (till about a few years back!), so i would really appreciate if you guys can help me out here.

 

So, one of our prime ingredients in the seasoning mix is, freshly ground black pepper. So after the patty is shaped we'd sprinkle on some fresh pepper through a pepper mill (those manual ones). 

 

But now, since we're doing it on a larger scale it's not feasible anymore. We tried using a normal pepper grinder (the kind that comes as an attachment on blenders) but that either does the pepper too fine, or makes it a mix of fine and coarse ground pepper. We need consistency. 

 

So, we basically need something to grind about 200-300 grams of black pepper daily. I've been searching on these forums, and it seems like, our needs would be fulfilled by a coffee grinder which has settings for coarse and fine grinds? Is there any specific equipment that i should try?

Buy a cheap coffee grinder and you do your own the way you like and its always fresh.

I find the small blender types are very inconsistent.  Maybe a hand mill type with specific grind settings is the way to go.

Almost any burr grinder should be consistent enough for pepper.  You obviously don't need something good enough and fine enough for espresso. A Baratza Virtuoso might do the trick nicely.

Well my budget is around $80-$120. I'd ideally want something that is very durable, since i'm not living in the states, and if i'm importing it i won't be able to claim warranty etc.

 

So i guess there's a strong consensus that i should go for a coffee grinder. I however, want my pepper to be ground coarsely ( i believe it packs more flavour that way). Do all coffee grinders have that option?

I agree with the burr grinder but I am not sure the baratza virtuoso would hold up to the use.

Thanks guys. I just got a normal coffee grinder. (The cheapest and the only one that i could find in my local market). It's grinding the stuff quite swiftly, but the largest setting on it, is smaller then what i'd prefer. Oh well, it'll do the job for now. Thanks for the suggestions, i'll try importing one Baratza Virtuoso soon.
