my uncle went fishing and got a big wahoo (fish), and I want marinate it over the weekend and smoke it on Monday. Will the fish go bad?

If you clean and gut it, and keep it in the fridge, then no, it shouldn't. Obviously you should check it on Monday, but the marinade might also have a preservation effect depending on what it is.

I often do this and never had a problem to date. Just keep ice cold in a marinade or brine solution.
