What I won't be having for dinner.

Made a nice cottage pie tonight, tasty.  And I made it big enough so that we could eat half tonight, the other half tomorrow.  Went to cover the dish with foil before stashing in the fridge and BAM, slipped out of my fingers and shattered on the floor.

Shards of broken glass seem like they would not be a good addition to food.

Oh well.

ps:  I should have taken a quick pic of the mess.

Unbelievable, I'm sorry that happened, what a bummer!

Must be the snow here in Utah. My family dropped 3 glassware items this weekend in the kitchen, all of them shattering.

Sad story. A cottage pie... a favorite!

Bye, bye pie... bye, bye happiness...

I almost dropped the Chilean fish stew I made the other night and that would have been a mess! Although I'm pretty sure my cat would have enjoyed the fresh bits of Mahi Mahi and Ahi Tuna in it.

Perhaps an odd permutation of the Lake Effect?

Two more broke, including a cheftalk mugmad.gif I've told my daughter to only reach for plastic items for a while.  She's broken 3 out of the 5.
