I'm thinking about applying for a job as Executive Chef in a supermarket. Shoprite is opening a new store. I am not familiar with the chain. I know these supermarket chef positions are a relatively new concept but the hours and benefits I've been told about make it seem like a pretty good job. Does any one have experience doing this kind of work? It's a union position. That's also new for me. Good points/bad points? I'm listening.
