Looks GORGEOUS!  SIL has a fantasy Chirstmas house for the holidays... will probably have husband hauling bins of Christmas stuff out of attic next weekend... and hauling bins of fall/halloween/thanksgiving stuff back up.  She has bins labled exactly where they go and her place is always stunning.  When niece was maybe 7-8, we had our first craft/food/movie sleep-over... she's 17 now.  I provided a little help, but she did a reverse-painted snowman on an OLD 6 pane window.  We mapped out what we hadda paint first... last!?!  I did a little outline with washable marker for her to follow.  We'd cook and eat while waiting for stuff to dry before next step.  Can honestly say you'd never guess that a 7-8 yo made it... brought SIL to total tears... and has a place of honor right inside her front door.

We've done some kinda craft for her to give to grands, aunts, uncles, teacher over the years.  One year she made 8 pc sets of hand stenciled coasters on a box of plain white ceramic tiles I found somewhere... air dry ceramic paint.  One time made quart mason jars fulla beer bread recipes... she made cute lables to include recipe and instructions.

Niece is coming over (maybe with a school buddy) to decorate, cook and eat!  She started a tradition of totally setting my rarely used diningroom table with set of 8 reindeer plates, 8+ pieces of really nice silverplate flatware and glasses.  Might go to Good Will and find 8 each of several different pices of stemware... ALWAY there and mega cheap.  Even if no food ends up on plates, sure looks fextive.

Thank you so much ...I enjoy it so much  that I do it much earlier every year.  It is a LOT of work that is why I want to enjoy it much longer by putting them up earlier..
