Mint sauce made using min extract or mint oil?

Does anyone know a mint sauce recipe that does not need fresh mint?

 

Or could I adapt another sauce recipe for mint?

What are you planning on serving it on or with?

Good question - black pudding. Black pudding with peppermint is not available in my area so I thought I would substitute lingonberry jam for a mint sauce.

Still not quite understanding if you are looking to substitute a sauce for for mint sauce or make a mint sauce without fresh mint or modify another sauce into a quasi mint sauce by using mint oil or extract.
