My name is Harvey and I'm a recent transplant to Paris. You wouldn't think it, but it's not easy cooking here. It's a whole other world and I'm still learning, well, pretty much everything: where to shop for food and ingredients, what to call it (or even just how to pronounce it), purchasing new tools and equipment. It's an exciting challenge.
Everything is so different! I've now seen and eaten things I could never find in the US. It's been an exciting adventure and I'm looking forward to picking up new skills, techniques and recipes.
I have a lot of questions that I'll be laying out in future posts. I look forward to everyone's feedback.
