Hello everyone, glad I found this site. Ok a little background on myself. I have been cooking as work for the past 15 years on and off. My main work has been in locally owned cafe's in the midwest. I enjoy cooking breakfast and lunch for the locals as well as the tourists and hunters. I am in a bit of a rut due to who I work for and with. Have a owner/manager who is nothing more then an office boy. He comes out of his man cave to get something to eat and do orders and that is it. He is blind to everything else that happens and when you bring the negative to his attention he calls it drama. The people I work with have no fear of being held accountable for things they do. I am not like this. I am a structured worker and I prefer to have someone there at all times making sure things that need done are done and those who are not doing it are called out on it. I hope to change this by the end of the year, or give my walking papers. I can go to any of the 3 other buisness in town, make $3.00 more an hour and have someone there who is a manager, but I do like the fact that I know what I can do for this current place and for myself in the process.
Hello from Nebraska
Aloha, Welcome to Chef Talk Chef R3llik.
I love to cook breakfast for people, but drama, that I’m not a fan of.
I think that you’ll find loads of support from the huge membership from all around the globe.
The Articles, Galleries and Reviews are great. Some of the subjects have been around the block a few times, you might want to use the search bar. If you have questions, PM a mod for help.
