New guy! :-)


I've used this forum in the past for information (BDL helped me out quite a bit), but just joined at the sugestion of KnifeSavers (thanks Jim!).


Reared in the San Fernando Valley, I moved to Boulder a while back & now live about an hour north of Denver in Loveland, CO.

So glad that you decided to take that step into the pool, the water’s great, is it!

Now, I hope that you’ll join in on the other forums and not just ‘stick’ with Knives.

What is it with boys and knives?  My husband is the same way…

When you get the chance, we’d love to hear more about your culinary experiences.

I know that you’ve already checked everything out and know that the three Pro forays are read only to folks who are not employed in the food biz.

Should you have any questions in regards to the site, please PM one of us Mods, we’re all happy to assist.

Hi kaneohegirlinaz, thanks for the welcome.


Who said anything about only knives? ;-) I really only cook because I enjoy eating flavorful stuff, so that means I have to cook it myself. I don't know that I'll have a whole lot to contribute in other areas, but we'll see.


No, I haven't really perused the aisles yet. I'm sure I will, eventually, but for now I'm here because Jim invited me. I'm not in any food service profession, but I'm sure I'll find lots of useful info in the pro-only forums.
