Looking for a recipe called Moon's

Hi all i am new here i need your help when i was growing up my Mother made this cake in a sheet pan she called moon's they had nuts on top i guess this recipe is old like back in the 60's does anyone have an idea what the recipe is Please!! write back

Probably someone here knows the recipe, I do not.  But to me it rings of classic american, in which case I would look in the Fannie Farmer cookbook and The Joy Of Cooking to see if moons or something similar is in there.

Maybe a bit more information Zapper would be helpful for others to pin down that recipe.

Zapper, I just did a Google search and found several recipes for Moon Cake.  Something like a yellow cake on the bottom, vanilla pudding on top of that and then whipped cream. 

Does that sound about right?
