Hot Damn "Cinnamon Stick"

I am making eggnog custard filled chocolate cups for a party in a couple weeks and I was kicking around the idea of using a cinamon liquor to make a "cinnamon stick" to garnish the desserts but I have no idea how to make something like that.  Anybody have any ideas?

It's sort of hard to follow what your envisioning, what is the 'cinnamon stick' made from? All I'm thinking of right now is something with pulled sugar, or perhaps something along the lines of a brandy snap rolled tightly into a stick.
