Fujiwara FKM series.

Thread Starter

Hey guys, so I recently purchased a 240mm Gyuto and a 150mm Petty by Fujiwara, and I love the knives to bits! But my only question is, what whetstones would be suitable for these knives? And only first inspection of the knives, they seem to only have a single bevel edge, are my eyes deceiving me?

They are highly asymmetric, in some 80/20 proportion, and if the left bevel is relatively obtuse, it's very small as well. That's why you overlooked it.
Any waterstone will do with this steel, in fact, any abrasive.

Your Eyes aren't deceiving you... you need to use a 'loupe' or other magnifing glass.

Glad you like the knives.
