My dream is to open up my own bakery. I don't know where, but I will find out someday. I'm only 18 and have a long way to go. I love sweets and desserts.. My whole life is based on the crazy sweet tooth I have, and my wish to satisfy everyone else's sweet tooth. My interests are along the lines of candymaking, chocolates, pastries, breads, and those simple pleasures that make up a treat. If there's anyone that can help me or encourage me with advice or even some recipies to try, that would be great! Thanks
I have never worked as a Barista so I can't say from personal experience but my sister did for 2-3 years. She started off working her first job in a coffee shop with no work experience at all & she was still in high school.
My interests are personally involved in any form of baking, including breads, pastries, candies; pretty much anything sweet I want to build my mind to the full extent of baking and pastries and am willing to learn anything.
I'm asking about the Barista thing because I look at videos on Youtube and see those coffee venders create awesome latte art, or work an espresso machine that looks like Willy Wonka's bubble gum creator! It would be really nice to work some magic and make coffee more enjoyable, and plus I see my dream bakery including a coffee section with the delightful treats.
I also like to work with Pate A Choux sometimes, but would like to work with french macaroons
