Good morning/afternoon. I am a Bachelor student from IHTTI School of Hotel Management, Switzerland and University of Derby, United Kingdom. I am now conducting a survey to investigate tourists' motivations to travel on culinary tourism to Italy. This questionnaire will only take a few minutes to complete, and all information collected shall be strictly confidential and use for academic purposes only.

The questionnaire link is on:

Thank you for your participation. If you have any enquires in regards to this questionnaire, please do not hesitate to contact me at chli070189@ihtti-mail.ch.

Why are you posting this on a chefs' forum????

Presumably because chefs might want to visit other countries and learn from other chefs? Oh, and whilst the site is called Cheftalk, there are many members here, including me, who are not chefs. We are here with the blessing of the site owner.

The site tries to encourage international participation and help students. Admirable goals, IMO.

Btw, Many members have taken cookery courses in many countries. I confess that whilst I can number Italy, France, Portugal, Ireland, England, Egypt and my home country of Scotland in that tally... I have never been on a course in the USA.

Sorry, for one moment I was oblivious to the fact that this is not exclusively a professional forum (which is not a bad thing at all!).

And honestly, I had no idea that many people take cooking courses abroad. Excellent!
