Regarding olive oil.  This is slightly NSFW but nothing is audible.  It just goes to show you how marketing has really pulled a fast one on us.

Thanks for sharing... a very good read.

Reminded me when my neighbor found out that I can chicken at home  - she thought I was joking.

I got a great deal on a case of bone in thighs - so I invited her over to help... she near fainted.

LOL

Thanks kuan for the read......speaking of marketing pulling a 'fast one', how bout this new snake oil......"imitation calamari" .....I kid you not....it is pork bung, as in hog bung, as in [ahem], rectum. seems the shape lends itself naturally? as calamari 'rings'. Oh, and it's half the price of the real deal. To my knowledge calamari has never been expensive....just the opposite really.
just one more important reason to know where your food is coming from.
come on...pork bungs being sold as imitation calamari...are they kidding!!!!!!!
