No need to use home made marshmallow.
1 bag mini marshmallows
1 bag powdered sugar
3 tablespoons water
1 T. Shortening
Vanilla optional.
Microwave all ingredients except powdered sugar and vanilla for three minutes until marshmallow grows. Watch closely. Sift the powdered sugar into marshmallow mixture and knead until very sticky. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest for a few hours or over night. Then knead again and use. Spray hands w/ Pam when kneading.

Sorry for the long wait, the recipe worked perfectly. Thanks a million! Really tasty too, bit harder to use than normal fondant but very worth it. Thanks again! smile.gif
