Aloha. I was stationed at Pearl Harbor for 5 years in the late 70's. I have been baking yeast bread, biscuit, muffins and pies since the late 60's. I enjoy cooking in the Italian, Oriental, and Mexican style. My only professional food experience was making 4500 pieces of French Toast in 4 hours while on an aircraft carrier(Bosses cook and serve day). This time of year my favorite is thick soup(or thin stew) using pork and/or beef, potatoes, and whatever veg I can find.
I am a learning knife maker, mostly paring/utility knives and several cleavers. I also make wood cutting boards and spatula style utensils.
I enjoy this site.
