I have been thinking of going to school for a bachelor's degree in culinary management for a little over a year, and have been looking for schools all over Indiana. The two schools I am most interested in are The Chef's Academy (but this one is really expensive), and the International Culinary School. Does anyone know if the ICS is a good school? I took a tour of it at an open house, and it seems pretty good, even having a student operated restaurant that is open to the public. I want to make sure that's if a good school before I take out $40,000.00 worth of student loans to pay for tuition.
I am thinking of going to the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Indianapolis.....Is it a good school?
I'm currently a student at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles, & I can say from my experience that it's most definitely a fantastic school, and more than worth the cost of tuition. I'm a Culinary Management major, and I'm about halfway through, and I can't say enough great things about the school. They provide the most amazing support, and the chef instructors are very good at what they do, not to mention they go out of their way to help us find jobs and help in any way possible. Also, the management classes are indispensable. I would highly recommend this program to anyone.
