Hey my name is Zoe and i just joined ChefTalk. I am an avid baker at home, mostly cupcakes, bars, cookies, tarts, pies etc. I love making everything from scratch and trying new recipes whenever I can. I've joined this forum in hopes of finding new recipes and also new skills. I've also been toying with the idea of going to culinary school, most likely specializing in the pastry and baking side of things. So i'm hoping to learn more about what a career is like after culinary school.
Cant wait to see what cheftalk has to offer!

Welcome, Zoe! I'm a home cook/baker myself. I've learned so much from being a member here, and it's improved my cooking and baking quite a lot. I hope you have a similar experience. 

 

All the forums are open to you for reading, but the Professionals' forums are "read only" for us home cooks. The pros do participate in the General forums too, so you won't miss out on their advice. Besides the forums we have excellent cooking articles, cookbook and equipment reviews, galleries and much more on the ChefTalk.com side of the site! Don't miss out on great material. You can post your own photos of your baked goods there if you like, and enjoy viewing others', too.

 

How did you get started with cooking and baking? Was there someone who inspired you to get into the kitchen? I hope you'll take part in the community, visit, learn and share often. We'll look forward to seeing you here.
