I own my own bar and I feature 11 burgers....I grill them but just curious if I should be cooking them on a flat top?
They're great both ways. Great cooked over charcoal or wood too. The question is loaded though. There's burger fanatics for both methods. I'm not sure which would be my favorite. I love the char flavor on a burger, but a burger grilled on a flat top is juicier. Some people complain about flat top burgers being "cooked in their own grease", but it's that "grease" that gives a burger all it's flavor. No grease equals a dry burger.
