New to Chef Talk but not to food. 25 years as a food professional.

Hello Chef Daveed. Welcome to Chef Talk! We're glad to have another seasoned pro with us, and look forward to your contributions here. We also hope you have a great time hanging out here and finding plenty to interest you, too. Our community includes people from all over the world, all ages, with many levels of experience. You'll find some challenging topics here, but also some unexpectedly hilarious conversations too! After over a dozen years here myself, I like that I can come here and read about someone teaching somebody how to dress out a frog, but I can explain to somebody how to do something I know about, too. And it doesn't matter who's the home cook and who's the pro (so long as I know my liver!).

 

What brought you into the food business? Did someone inspire you, or did life bring you there? My brother is a chef-owner; there are as many stories as there are people!

 

We hope you enjoy taking a tour of the site, visiting and participating often, and taking part in the community.
