Hello everyone, glad to be here.  I have already enjoyed viewing many of the threads and am excited to be able to add to the discussions.  I have worked in restaurants earlier in life, lately I have been keeping busy food-wise volunteering in the kitchens in my local church and school (and cooking/baking a lot at home too).

So glad you found us!  This a vibrant and diverse community comprised of folks of varying skill levels.  Don’t miss the Chef’s Garden forum; there is always something interesting growing there.  I hope that you will post in the general forums as well as in the Professional, Home Cooks are asked to read in the Pro section.  Should you have questions in regards to the site, fplease post them in the Feedback & Suggestion forum.  I think that you’ll find that everyone here is very helpful and respectful.
