Duck breast (as discussed)
Sweet potato
Maris piper
Spring onion
Peppers
Coriander , thyme, rosemary
Red onion
Broccoli
Rice
Star anise, 5spice, fresh ginger
Garlic

 

I have too create something for tuesday, Can anyone help me?

Duck breast seasoned with a spice rub of coriander and star anise, pan seared and then finished in a hot oven, served with a sweet potato, ginger, and 5 spice sauce

Rice pilaf with peppers, spring onions, garlic, red onions, and rosemary

Broccoli tossed with a thyme brown butter

I think this is what I am going to do, Overall cooking time would be an hour right?

Saute ginger, yellow onion, and 5 spice in duck fat until golden brown. Add diced, peeled sweet potatoes. Deglaze with marsala. Add a stock made from duck confit bones and kombu. Simmer until potatoes are thoroughly tender. Add a honey white balsamic gastrique. Blend and strain through etamine.
